Easily the best
I use this 50/50 with lean mince and it works extremely well, once cooked you can't tell the difference

the Prince of Mince
There's a lot of veggie minces about, but for me this is the best. Why? Well, the pieces are of a decent size, and don't go missing in action like some of the smaller-ground minces. Secondly, as long as you brown them off first, the pieces of mince keep their shape and texture better than others. I don't think any veggie minces will stand up to long cooking times and so you have to factor that in, but if you cook your ingredients through and then just warm the sauce on top rather than boiling the bejesus out of it you won't go far wrong.

Mushy, unpleasant, and weird.
I seem to remember having Quorn Mince some time ago, and back in the day it wasn't bad. But this evening I couldn't get hold of my usual vege-mince to make a chilli, so I reverted to using this Quorn Mince instead. The texture was all wrong; mushy with no bite. I didn't overcook it, so I really don't know what went wrong. Have they changed the recipe? Sadly, based on my experience this evening, I won't buy Quorn Mince again.

Great
Excellent alternative to mince, useful to keep in the freezer.

Not terrible, but oddly large chunks
I really wanted to like this given that its a vegetarian mince but one of the few that isn't soy-based - although its not completely established there are ongoing concerns that a diet high in soy can affect hormones. But I wasn't really blown away by the product. The first thing is that its not really mince in appearance or texture, the pieces are very large (almost like pork meatballs!) and the texture of each is fairly "fluffy" compared to all the other vegetarian minces (and compared to meat). The taste isn't overly strong and isn't unpleasant but it is unique and doesn't taste like meat or like soy mince, its hard to describe. All in all I won't be switching to this after trying it but will stick with my current brand of soy mince. I think where this might work best is in dishes that would benefit from very large chunks of "mince" and where a meaty flavour isn't needed - not spagbol or chilli but maybe as a pizza topping in place of pork meatballs?
